Ramona Lima

Co-founder & Owner of Lima’s Pharmacy
Ramona Lima graduated from University of Texas at Austin in 1990 with a B.S. Degree in Pharmacy and subsequently moved to Eureka in 1992 to continue her career in the healthcare profession. In 1997, she and her husband, Robert established Lima’s Professional Pharmacy. Over 27 years now in business, the pharmacy continues to provide unique and customized medication solutions & healthcare services for patients in Humboldt County. Ramona is very proud that Lima’s Pharmacy has been voted “Best Pharmacy” by the North Coast Journal and by The Times Standard Reader’s Choice Award several, consecutive times over the years in business.
As a compounding pharmacist, Ramona saw the need and opportunity to provide natural or Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) as an alternative option for peri and post-menopausal women. Her interest in improving women’s health and quality of life inspired her to further her education and become a Certified Menopause Educator through the North American Menopause Society in 2003. In 2008, she achieved certification as Fellow and Diplomat of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine Health Practitioners and has had the opportunity to consult hundreds of women in the Humboldt County community on their healthcare issues and strives to educate and work with local practitioners.
Ramona believes in the healthcare triad. That is the Physician, Pharmacist, and Patient working together to produce the best healthcare possible.
Ramona is a current member of The International Association of Compounding Pharmacists, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Professional Compounding Centers of America, American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, North American Menopause Society, and Soroptimist International of Humboldt Bay. Lima’s Professional Pharmacy avidly supports the Breast and GYN Health Project, as well as many youth and civic organizations and programs.
Nina Tillman
Intern Pharmacist
Nina is an experienced intern pharmacist with over 13 years of dedicated practice in various facets of pharmacy, including compounding, retail pharmacy, and hormone consulting. Her journey in pharmacy has equipped her with a deep understanding of pharmaceutical processes, patient care, and personalized medicine.
Yumon Kwock
Yumon Kwock is a licensed pharmacist with more than five decades of experience serving patients and communities throughout California. He graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy in 1973. Following graduation, he briefly pursued a passion for the performing arts with the Civic Light Opera before dedicating his career to pharmacy.
In 1974, Yumon opened his first independent pharmacy, El Monte Drugs in Dinuba, California, which he owned and operated until 1978. He then joined Thrifty Drugs in September 1978, serving patients in Hanford and later Reedley, California.
In 1989, Yumon relocated to Lake Arrowhead, California, where he became Pharmacy Manager for Rite Aid. A decade later, in 1999, he moved to Eureka, California, continuing his leadership as Rite Aid Pharmacy Manager.
After leaving Rite Aid, Yumon joined Lima’s Professional Pharmacy, where he has become an integral member of the compounding team. He also provides part-time relief pharmacist services for Redwood Community Pharmacy in McKinleyville, California.
Today, Yumon serves as the Sterile Compounding Pharmacist at Lima’s Professional Pharmacy in Eureka, California. His extensive knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and decades of hands-on experience have made him a trusted resource for patients, providers, and colleagues alike. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care while advancing the specialized field of sterile compounding.

Amanda Gahart
Compound Pharmacy Technician
Amanda has been part of the Lima’s team since 2021, specializing in customized medications for veterinary patients. She is passionate about creating treatment options that meet the unique needs of animals of all shapes and sizes. Her experience in veterinary compounding helps make medications easier to administer and better suited to each patient. Amanda takes pride in supporting our pet owners and veterinary providers through thoughtful, individualized care.
Tommy Lawler
Compound Pharmacy Tech
Tommy brings more than 12 years of compounding experience across both hospital settings and Lima’s non-sterile compounding lab. He is passionate about developing customized formulas and medication compounds tailored to each patient’s individual needs. His problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and dedication to personalized care are at the heart of what he enjoys most about pharmacy.
Elizabeth Mott
Pharmacy Clerk
Elizabeth, known to many customers as Liz or “the hat lady,” has been part of the Lima’s team since 2021. She brings warmth, compassion, and a welcoming smile to every customer interaction, backed by more than 10 years of pharmacy experience. In addition to helping patients feel comfortable and cared for, Liz also curates a fun and unique selection of gifts for customers to enjoy while they visit the pharmacy.
Marvin Ambrosio
Driver and Antigen Overseer
Marvin has spent the past three years delivering prescriptions throughout the community and helping ensure patients receive the care they need. As Lima’s has expanded its compounding services, his role has grown to include coordinating logistics related to antigen development. Known for his positive attitude and welcoming smile, Marvin brings reliability, care, and a team-first spirit to everything he does.
Raegan Lima
DTCM LAc, Bookkeeper
Raegan brings more than 10 years of experience in health and wellness as a licensed acupuncturist and owner of her own practice. Her holistic perspective, attention to detail, and understanding of patient care bring a unique point of view to her role as Lima’s bookkeeper. She helps support the day-to-day business while contributing to the thoughtful, wellness-focused approach that defines the Lima’s team.
